Welcome to Varenna

Enchanting small town located on the eastern shore of Lake Como, in northern Italy, beautiful in its vintage buildings, rich in romantic spots, surrounded by a suggestive nature.
A distinctive feature of  Varenna is the mildness of its climate, as the olive trees, cypresses and other botanical species typical of the lake may attest. This mildness is due to its special exposure: leaning against the mountains, Varenna is facing south and west so that it is sunny and warm till late at night.
Nestled in the old center of  Varenna, a short walk from the lake and the main square, we have three apartments overlooking a pictoresque staircase, topped by ancient stone arches, leading straight to the beach and the lakeside with its pubs, rastaurants, shops and art galleries.

• Annina's House - Studio lies on the ground floor of a delightful vintage building located near the "Walk of Love".
  Lately renovated, it lies just 30 mt far away from the lake. It has a nice small balcony where you may enjoy nice relaxing moments.

• Casa di Mezzo is situated on the first floor of a 15th century building.
  Just 60 steps from the water, so close one can hear the lapping of the lake, the apartment’s rooms look onto two picturesque cobblestone pedestrian- only streets in the heart of Varenna’s old quarter.

All the main attractions of Varenna may be reached walking a few minutes.
The old center of Varenna may be easily visited on foot. The narrow, steep staircases leading down to the lake, the beautiful vintage buildings and the charming atmosphere make this small town a real pearl of Lake Como.
